From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome by Evelin made us feel right at home. the thoughtful gesture of having water in the fridge and local taralli as a welcome gift truly set the tone for a fantastic stay. the apartment, surrounded by a mesmerizing old olive grove, was not only beautifully decorated but also incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. the highlight for me was the luxurious marble shower in the bathroom, a true indulgence. the attention to detail in providing mosquito screens on all windows was a game-changer, ensuring a peaceful and undisturbed night's sleep. the presence of a friendly neighbor cat seeking cuddles added a charm to the overall experience. Despite being just a short drive from Vieste, I appreciated the host's advice against walking to the center, especially at night, prioritizing the safety and well-being of guests. During our out-of-season visit, the weather wasn't ideal for swimming, but the beauty of the surroundings and the comfort of the villa made up for it. the recommendation for dinner at Osteria al Duomo was spot-on, providing an excellent dining experience at a reasonable price. Overall, La Chianconata Villa stands out as a top-notch pet-friendly accommodation, surpassing my stringent criteria with flying colors. I am already looking forward to returning for more water sports, swimming, and exploring the surrounding woods, thanks to the exceptional hospitality and amenities provided by this hidden gem along the Italian coastline.
